Buy here and skip the line, or pay at the tent on the day. A quest is not faire admission: get your gate ticket from the faire.
One map per quest. Share it with your crew or get one each. Didn’t finish? Your quest keeps — come back and finish it any day the faire is open. Questions about your order? Email info@xtreasurehunt.com.
Every play day at the faire, the top score wins a prize — a contest of skill. Official rules.
Your day
Show your receipt on your phone, or buy at the tent. You get a painted treasure map with its own QR code.
Clues hide across the faire grounds: spin the cipher wheels, read the riddles, collect the pass phrase. Stuck? The game has hints.
Scan your map, enter the pass phrase, and unlock the chest. A new hero joins your crew in the free game at home.

The day’s top score
Every play day, the top score wins a prize. Finish an Advanced Quest for 100 points, then solve the Easter-egg puzzles it opens for 50 more each — the day’s top score wins. Tied? Fewest hints used wins, then the fastest solving time on the egg puzzles — never the time of day.
Each day’s prize is set in advance and paid for by X Treasure Hunt — it never depends on how many people play. Right now it’s a cipher wheel pendant. Scores close at the end of the play day — anything finished later still earns Legacy, but not prize points. At the end of the faire’s run, the season prize goes to the best single-day score — playing more days or buying more quests can’t raise it. The players on one account may solve together; sharing answers with anyone else is against the rules. Beginner Quests are for the fun of it — they don’t score for the prize.
Prizes are handed to an adult — under-18 winners collect with a parent or guardian. Read the official rules.
